Although oil leakage from a machine is easy to observe, finding its cause is difficult. For machines using sliding bearings, low speed is not conducive to lubrication, especially inching or low-speed operation, which has a greater impact on lubrication. Therefore, before performing such operations, it is best to idle the machine and lubricate it. This is also a primary task that should be done before going to work every day. The oil pump of some machines is driven by the main engine. Therefore, when reverse point occurs, the oil line will not be refueled, but will suck the oil in the oil line back to the tank. This is very dangerous, so reverse point should be avoided. The lubrication of some more important parts can also be detected by the temperature of the metal near them. Reducing the machine speed is another important condition for reducing the machine's moment of inertia. The lower the machine's speed, the smaller its moment of inertia, so the machine should not always be running at high speed.
