Printing Press Classification

1. Classification according to printing plate form
It is divided into letterpress, lithographic, gravure and stencil printing machines; the mounting plate and imprinting structure are divided into flat-pressing, round-pressing and round-pressing circular printing machines.
(1) Toppan printing machine
Letterpress: relief printing press. A machine that uses letterpress to complete the printing process. Such as business card machine (resin version), type printing, zinc letterpress, set number, etc.
(2) Lithographic printing press
Lithographic press: planographic press. A machine that uses offset plates to complete the printing process. Such as multi-color machines, four-color machines, two-color machines, single-color machines, high-speed printing machines, etc.
(3) Gravure printing machine
Intaglio printing press: intaglio printing press. A machine that uses gravure to complete the printing process. Such as glass bag printing of instant noodles, aluminum foil bag packaging of biscuits, etc.
(4) Screen printing machine
Screen printing machine: screen-process printing press A machine that uses a screen plate to complete the printing process. Hole printing: such as screen printing, circuit board printing, cloth printing, can printing, nameplate printing, partial glazing, etc.
2. Classification by printing paper
(1) Sheet-fed printing press
Sheet-fed printing press: A printing press that uses sheet-fed paper.
(2) Web printing press
Roll-fed printing press: roll-fed printing press A printing press that uses roll paper.
3. Classification by printing method
(1) Flat press
Flat press: platen press is a printing press in which both the plate support and the impression body are flat.
(2) Round flattening printing machine
Flat-bed cylinder press (flat-bed cylinder press) The printing plate support is flat and the impression body is cylindrical.
(3) Stop the rotary printing press
Stop-cylinder press: The printing plate cooperates with reciprocating motion. When moving forward, the impression cylinder rotates once, and when returning, the impression cylinder stops rotating to complete a printing process.
(4) One-rotary printing press
Single-revolution printing press: Each time the plate table reciprocates, the impression cylinder rotates once to complete a printing process.
(5) Two-rotation printing press
Two-revolution printing press: A printing press that completes a printing process every time the printing plate table reciprocates.
(6) Reciprocating printing press
Reciprocating printing press: A printing press in which the impression cylinder rotates back and forth once to complete a printing process.
(7) Round press printing machine
Rotary printing press: The printing plate support body and transfer body are both cylindrical, and the printing machine performs full rotational motion when completing the printing process.
